John Kerry has apparently just conceded the election to Bush. It is indeed a very sad day for many of us.

Am I feeling a little disappointed? Of course. Even a little frustrated and angry? Sure. But as this election showed, this country is deeply divided over the course that Bush has taken in regard to what American society should look like. In other words, Bush won reelection but by no means did he receive anything close to a mandate or universal approval to continue his disastrous policies.

We liberals will continue to fight tooth and nail against Bush’s brand of corporatism, elitism, and arrogance. We may be down, but we are not out. No way!
