CNN’s First Vietnamese American Anchor
While we’re on the subject of Vietnamese Americans, it’s come to my attention that earlier this year, CNN hired Betty Nguyen as its first Vietnamese American new anchor. I’ve never really seen her on TV and don’t know that much about her, but it’s always nice to see Vietnamese Americans in prominent positions in the media industry.
Now what can we do about getting Vietnamese American (or for that matter, any Asian American) male news anchors into a prominent national position???
