Latest Poll: Iraq Invasion a Mistake
Well, well. Now we see that, according to the latest opinion poll by CNN/USA Today/Gallup, the majority of Americans surveyed now say that it was a mistake to invade Iraq:
Fifty-two percent of respondents said they thought it was a mistake to send U.S. troops to Iraq versus 47 percent with the opposite view. . . The poll’s findings from January 14-16 are a reverse of a similar poll taken November 19-21 in which 47 percent called it a mistake and 52 percent said it was not.
How many more Americans and Iraqis need to die before more Americans realize that since the beginning, this war was based on lies, deception, and greed? How many more scenes of American soldiers coming home in coffins will convince people that Bush and his administration are some of the most morally corrupt and wholly inept politicians in modern history?
Wake up people, and smell what Bush is shoveling.
