Extramarital Affair Rates by Country
As a demographer and sociologist, I always have an eye out for interesting demographic or socioeconomic data, so this one recently caught my attention: Rates of Extramarital Affairs by Country, part of a larger international study on sex habits. Here’s a copy of their graph:

It shows that Turkey has the highest rates of extramarital affairs, with 58% of adults surveyed admitting to cheating on their spouses. I personally would not have guessed that Turkey would be number one. At the other extreme the least likely to have affairs were adults in Israel, at just 7%. The U.S. is actually towards the low end at 17%.
